Surface treated materials

The basic characteristic is the coating of a substrate material (textiles, or paper and non-woven) by means of rubber or plastic refinement. According to required properties of the composite material, the most suitable polymer and coating technology are chosen. For solving the composite material design, our members of research and development teams use the newest scientific and technical knowledge as well as they cooperate with external scientific workplaces and universities. In principle we differentiate two technologies of coating:

• coating from fluid stage
• coating from solid stage

POROTEX® Program

POROTEX^® is a high-quality membrane material, designed especially for sport and work clothes. It is vapour-permeable, water-repellent, water-resistant. By observing the proper care of the material it will maintain its original properties through a long life.
These properties are valued particularly by sportsmen, tourists and workers in various professions who perform their work in unfavourable weather conditions.

POROTEX^® ANTISTAT - antistatic POROTEX^® has permanent electrostatic properties that guarantee protection against electrical discharges. It was developed for production of electrostatic protective clothing, e.g. in environments with danger of explosion, in chemical storage rooms, when handling in military storage rooms, gas stations and so on.

SITTEX is an economical line of materials with the same characteristics as ^®.

Laminated materials

Made by the flame lamination technology. Most often PUR foam (MOLITAN^® with thickness from min. 20 mm) is bonded to the textile on one or both sides. Other materials used include knitwear, various types of nonwovens, PUR films and aluminium foil. Laminated materials are often found in the upholstery, shoemaking and automotive industries (seat covers, seat upholstery, etc.)

NEW - Special clothing against bloodthirsty insects

The aim of the company akciová společnost GUMOTEX Břeclav is a continuous improvement of products and services. For this purpose, a new very interesting material has been developed that is used for the manufacture of clothing protecting against bloodthirsty insects.

The Branch 3 Rubber and Plastics is working on the improvement of textile products for clothing manufacture. They developed a material that repels the bloodthirsty insects, mainly mosquitos and ticks. In cooperation with the company SOS Litvínov the first line of clothes has been presented with this special treatment completed by water-resistance and vapour-permeability. The use of such clothing is expected mainly in areas where a man could be bothered by insects and is endangered by the risk of infection transfer.
