Rubber blends

GUMOTEX, a. s. has been developing and producing rubber blends since its foundation in 1950 for own use as well as for our business partners for further processing.

The high quality of our rubber blends is assured by observing defined technology procedures and regulations, which is supported by the certification according to ISO 9001.
Our product range consists of more than 150 types of rubber blends having various composition and colours. We have own laboratories available that are equipped with the most modern devices for measuring of physical mechanical properties declared by the material data sheets. Specific measurements required by the customer are ordered at external accredited laboratories.
Should you fail to choose from our standard product range, we will tailor a blend to your needs.

We use elastomers

For the rubber blend manufacture, we use the following basic elastomers: natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), butyl rubber (IIR), ethylene-propylene rubber (EPM, EPDM), butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber (NBR), chloroprene (CR) a chlorine-sulfonated polyethylene (CSM). We also offer rubber blends from recycled rubber.

Manufacture and processing

We prepare our rubber blends on a kneader or on a two-cylinders calander, they can be processed further by rolling, extruding or pressing. We can coat substrate materials with rubber blends (e.g textiles, plastic films, paper and similar.) by means of painting, coating and impregnation technology.

• For dynamic stress – shoemaking, seals, hoses.
• For thermal stress – seals, hoses.
• Swelling resistance (oilproof) – machine industry.
• Chemical substances resistance – chemical industry.

Forms of supply

• Sheets (plates): thickness 2,2 mm to 12 mm, width 350 mm to 750 mm, length max. 1350 mm.
• WIG-WAG: thickness 6 mm to 12 mm, width 50 mm to 750 mm.
• Profile oval: length 400 mm to 1000 mm.
• Profile elliptic: length 400 mm to 1000 mm.
• Profile flat with protrusions: length 400 mm to 14000 mm.
• The forms of supply and logistics are adapted according to customer´s request.
