Development and implementation of development projects:

GUMOTEX AUTO has its own development and design capacities available. The expert department Development and Technical Production Preparation is responsible for projects and activities management in connection with the product development and manufacture preparation of new products.

  • design and CAD of products including appropriate materials

  • design of tools and moulds, templates and checking fixtures

  • production and testing of samples and series parts

  • improvement, innovation and design changes of products during series production

  • design of processes and choice of appropriate technology and equipment

  • preparation and launch of series production, including production documentation

  • definition of working procedures and operations

  • implementation of the control system of the process reliability and use of suitable checking and measuring equipment

  • innovation and improvement of processes

Used technology:

  • PUR foam (moulded parts for seats, headrests and interior parts) including in-situ foaming of PUR into covers
  • PUR integral foam (handgrips for gear levers, armrests, grips)
  • Assembly and welding of sun visors
  • EPP – parts pressing (components of bumpers, tool boxes, damping parts)
